Regenerative Grid Simulators: How to Test Smarter, Faster and More Effectively

Date: Wednesday, June 26th, 2024
Time: 11am PT / 1pm CT / 2pm ET
The increasing development of grid-connected devices requires accurate compliance testing to meet regulatory standards such as IEEE 1547 and UL 1741. Testing to these evolving standards can be complicated and time-consuming without the right tools, knowledge, and support. This can often lead to re-testing, delayed project schedules, and uncertainty about the test results.
Regenerative grid simulators are ideal for simulating voltage sags, brownouts, and other real-world disturbances. However, there is important knowledge and key capabilities that simplify and accelerate testing so you can get testing done right the first time and avoid common pitfalls.

In this webinar, you’ll learn how smart control, flexibility, and advanced hardware performance can provide significant advantages for testing pre-compliance, LVRT, interoperability, harmonics and flicker, immunity, anti-islanding, and more. You will discover that running your compliance tests can be as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Key Technical Concepts:

  • Industry Landscape & Challenges
  • Key Considerations for Selecting a Grid Simulator
  • How to Effectively Test to Grid-Tied Standards, Worldwide
  • Use Case Examples
