The All-in-1 Regenerative AC & DC Power Source

The AGX Series is a high power density ‘All-in-One’ test solution that can be used as a fully programmable AC/DC power source, current source, and power supply with an optional electronic load.  It provides AC, DC, AC+DC, and DC+AC output capability and an extended frequency range up to 3000Hz.

This flexible, high performing, and intelligent test system makes it the ideal choice for all AC and DC regenerative power applications.

Constant Power Voltage Range

 The constant power voltage range for both higher current at lower voltage and higher voltages at lower currents eliminating the need to switch between voltage ranges. This prevents potential disruptions in output power.

Best-in-Class Current Availability

The AGX Regenerative AC/DC Power Source provides a broader range of current eliminating the risk of over or under sizing the power source. This reduces the need for additional capital investment. The diagram to the right illustrates the AGX’s capability to provide 20% more current from 120V to 200V when compared to a typical unit that maxes out at 35A/phase.

Most Flexible Output Configuration for Testing Wide-Range of Conditions

Simultaneous AC and DC operation of modes per phase(or channel), and the automatic switching of output modes provides test engineers with a unique capability and the highest degree of flexibility. AC, DC, AC+DC, DC+AC output configurations are available in single, split, three phase and multi-channels with optional isolated neutrals in AC and DC.

NOTES

  • All AGX models have a single voltage range with constant power profile. This eliminates the need for switching between a high and a low voltage range. If desired, a low voltage range can be simulated.
  • Maximum current ratings shown are available up to max. power point. Voltage and Current follow constant power profile so higher current at lower voltage and lower current at higher voltage is available.
  • Three phase input: 380 ~ 480 VAC ± 10% input range. All models have active power factor corrected AC inputs. Models above 12kW require 380~480Vac Input service to deliver full power. 208-240Vac models are not available at this time.
  • 19 Inch Cabinet not included with parallel system kits. Contact us for integrated cabinet systems.
  • Lower power AGX models can be upgraded to higher power levels using Pacific’s AGX POWER FLEX upgrade program. Contact customer service for details.
