Electronic Power Transfer Switch Option
The Pacific Power Source EMC Compliance Test Systems may be equiped with an electronic power transfer switch (EPTS) module that supports the requisite voltage rise and fall slew rates for IEC AC and DC Voltage dips and Interruptions and Voltage Unbalance immunity testing per IEC61000-4-11, IEC61000-4-27,IEC61000-4-29 and IEC61000-4-34.
This optional series consists of several system configurations to accommodate both single and three phase compliance testing with current levels starting at 16Arms or 16Adc up to 100Arms or 100Adc. All EPTS models are provided with Windows 10 GUI software with IEC61000-4-11 (AC < 16Arms/phase), IEC61000-4-27 (AC 3 Phase < 16Arms/phase) IEC61000-4-29 (DC) and IEC61000-4-34 (AC < 75Arms/phase) Immunity test software.

Applications
EPTS Option Applications
IEC61000-4-11, IEC61000-4-27, IEC61000-4-29, IEC61000-4-34
When combined with ECTS2 Harmonics and Flicker Test System, AFX AC & DC power source or LMX AC Power Source.
For DC tests, a second DC Power Supply is required to provide the nominal EUT test voltage.
AC Voltage Dips, Interruptions, Variations and Unbalance
The EPTS is designed to work with two AC sources, one of which must be programmable. In locations where the grid voltage is stable and has the correct voltage and frequency, the grid can be used for the nominal test voltage. The dips and interruptions levels are always provided by the programmable AC source.
DC Voltage Dips, Interruptions and Variations Setups
The EPTS is designed to work with two DC power sources, one of which must be programmable. On three phase ECTS2 Systems, two phases of the three phase AC & DC power source in DC mode can be used as an alternative to using a second DC power supply. In either configuration, the dips and interruptions levels are always provided by the programmable DC source.
