Irvine, California, May 10, 2022 — Pacific Power Source has introduced a new range of precision programmable AC power sources for a wide range of AC power test applications.  This new LSX Series consists of eight different models ranging in power from 1500 VA to 6000 VA.  The LSX Series use PWM switch mode power conversion technology to offer excellent performance with respect to output noise, voltage distortion, output impedance and peak current capability. The LSX Series also offer a 15 Hz to 1200 Hz output frequency range which covers most commercial, industrial, defense and avionics AC power frequencies found around the world.

Housed in a 19” rack mount chassis, the LSX Series can be used on an engineering bench as well as easily integrated in an automated test station.  LAN with LXI compliance, USB, GPIB and RS232 Remote control interfaces are all standard and with the available PPSC Manager Windows  software, compliance testing to a wide range of avionics and commercial power standards is available without the need to write custom software.  This includes DO160, Mil-Std 704, Mil-Std 1399-300, Airbus ABD0100.1.8, ABD0100.1.8.1, AMD24D,  and Boeing B787, as well as IEC 61000-4 Grid Immunity standards.

Remote control of LSX power sources is available from any web browser on PC, Laptop, Tablet or Smartphone thanks to the embedded web server feature available on most Pacific Power Source products.

All LSX models share the same advanced voltage and frequency transient and arbitrary waveform programming capabilities as Pacific Power’s AFX, AZX and LMX Series power source models.
